What is a water slide decal?
The text and/or illustration is together with a layer of varnish printed onto paper covered with gum.Uses
Water slide decals are especially suitable for affixing to curved or undulating surfaces.
This type of decal is used, among others, on the following:
- wooden products (in Holland especially on clogs)
- scale models
- musical instruments
- promotional gifts
- candles
One advantage of this type of decal is that while it remains damp it can be slid around to position it exactly. Applying large decals presents no problems.
